The outside of the coffee shop looks truly industrial but once inside the cozy couches and leather chairs call your name. They also have plenty of tables to sit and work on your laptop if you must. The baristas are knowledgable and full of life. The coffee is not over roasted and bitter but smooth and balanced. The espresso is salty caramel in taste and they always make your drink well and with love.

One of the cool things about this brand new coffee shop is how open it is! Very neighborhood feeling. Great staff. The coffee is great! They even have this type of coffee called the Coffee Cherry Tea. It’s like drinking a really yummy mug of black tea! Never had it before but now I am hooked! They are working on an iced version as well. The coffee is awesome and the women who roast the coffee are down to earth and put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into making great coffee beans. They are opening a new space in addition to this in a month or so for roasting, shopping, and education.

On warm sunny days you can find the “garage” door open and bistro tables filled outside. The coffee is great and the guys behind the counter enjoy what they are doing. They have a wide selection of beans from different locations around the world and classic coffee/espresso drinks. The ambiance is fun and quaint. Grab a coffee and sit outside at one of the tables with your dog and daydream away.

Pretty cool industrial building with many tables and very open feeling. The baristas are fun to talk too as you patiently wait for your pour over. Yes, patience is required for a really good cup of joe but it is worth it. They have two locations the SE Grand features coffee and the SE Hawthorne location is espresso based. Either one you can’t go wrong.
