Asia de Cuba has gone under a renovation of not only the interior of the St. Martins Lane eatery in the Theatre district of London, but of the chef behind the cuisine. Chef Pous, a Cuban trained chef, meshes his vision with that of Jeffrey Chodorow’s original vision of bringing the tastes Havanna Chinatown and transporting it into a new setting.

Chef Pous transformed the menu into what he believes modern Cuban food with an Asian influence would be like, if Cuban food could have evolved with the global tastes and cuisines over the past 50 years. The menu serves up five main sections: Ceviches, Small Plates, Salads, Wok, and Plancha. It also includes an extensive cocktail menu, which is handcrafted to focus on the Asian Cuban influence of tropical and approachable. The new chic, sophisticated space along with a menu to match gives Asia de Cuba the edge and update fit for the St Martins Lane location.
