In spring of this year, Oakland locals Seth and Jenni Bregman began transforming the former Michel Bistro into Bardo Lounge & Supper Club, and this month the new on-premise location opened its doors.

A Walk in the Orchard

Combining an inviting, 1960s living room-inspired cocktail lounge with an intimate upstairs dining room, Bardo Lounge & Supper Club will host happy hour, dinner, late night bites and weekend brunch. Michelin Bib Gourmand chefs Anthony Salguero and Brian Starkey will offer a supper menu that reflects an array of American cultural influences, while paying homage to dinner party favorites.

Jason Huffman (Rich Table, Roka Akor, & Michael Jordan’s Cornerstone Restaurant Group Chicago) will take the helm creating the beverage program, serving up a balanced menu ranging from low ABV to spirit-forward cocktails in eclectic vintage glassware, in a program designed to enchant serious cocktail enthusiasts as well as those with a preference for well-executed classics.

Jason will be teamed with a veteran crew of local bartenders and bar managers. including co-owner Seth, former bartender at acclaimed Stookey’s Club Moderne.
