Today is National Hot Toddy Day. What better way to celebrate than to create your very own Hot Toddy, but with a little twist. This week Drink Me & The Mixology Group bring you The Hot Fashion. A welcomed twist on the classic hot toddy, combined with elements of the ultimate cocktail, the Old Fashioned to create this delicious winter warmer to combat these frosty months!

The Hot Fashion

1 Demerara Sugar Cube
Angostura Bitters
25ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
50ml Whisky
Boiling Water
Cinnamon Stick (Garnish)
Lemon Wheel (Garnish)

Soak the sugar cube in Angostura Cocktail bitters (placing a napkin under the cube to soak up excess), add 25ml lemon juice and 50ml Whisky. Crush the sugar cube and top up the whole mixture with boiling water. Garnish with citrus and spice, serve up and enjoy!
