Discerning seafood lovers in London can enjoy a taste of Jersey this weekend.

Mark Jordan, executive head chef of Ocean Restaurant at Jersey luxury hotel The Atlantic Hotel, is teaming up with Pascal Proyart of One-O-One Restaurant to offer a special menu that blends the seafood flavors of Brittany and Jersey.

For two days only—today and Saturday—guests at One-O-One can enjoy a carefully crafted multi-course meal that combines the expertise and creative genius of the chefs behind two powerhouse seafood restaurants.

Ocean has boasted a Michelin star since 2007 and was awarded four Rosettes in the AA Restaurant Guide this year. It’s often named as one of the best restaurants in the Channel Islands. One-O-One was named the third best restaurant in London and the 13th best in the UK by The Sunday Times in 2015.

Jordan’s dishes on this menu illustrate his passion for local ingredients in Jersey. Diners can enjoy Jersey beef and lobster in what Jordan called a “posh surf and turf.” And, not to be missed, is the highly inventive squid rice-less risotto. In this dish, the squid is finely diced into risotto-sized pieces and topped with pickled cauliflower. The unique texture of the dish is one that will excite diners who love squid and delight those normally skeptical by its traditional preparation.

Proyart’s culinary creations reflect his love for seafood and fresh, sustainable ingredients. A standout on this special menu is his scallop dish, which includes foie gras, sea-spinach, wild mushrooms and vermouth. The sea-spinach combines cooked spinach with seaweed and lemon.

Diners at lunch can choose between 4- or 6-course meals for £39 and £59 per person, respectively. Those enjoying dinner can choose between the 6-course menu or the 8-course menu, priced at £79 per person. An additional wine pairing is also available. Limited spots remain for lunch and dinner reservations today and Saturday. Make reservations by calling 0207 290 7101.
