Fruity, bubbly and strong, this concoction will get your appetite going. It comes from Jonathan Pogash, drinks consultant and “Cocktail Guru.”

Commes Les Francais by Jonathan Pogash

Pastis
1 oz Louis Royer “Force 53” VSOP Cognac
1/2 oz Combier Orange Liqueur
1/2 oz Lillet Blanc
1/2 oz Boiron Passionfruit Juice
2 oz Champagne
Garnish: Lemon twist

Directions: Rinse the inside of a chilled Champagne flute with pastis and set aside. Add the Cognac, Combier, Lillet and passionfruit juice to a mixing glass. Fill with ice, fold gently and strain into the prepared flute. Top with Champagne and garnish with an orange twist.
