Château Doisy-Védrines 2012
Blend: 85% Sauternes, 15% Sémillon, 12% Sauvignon Blanc
Pure, with piercing persimmon, pineapple, white peach and quince flavors. Gorgeous floral notes of honeysuckle and orange blossom form the backdrop, while a heather accent caresses the finish. Overwhelmingly pure in the end, with a finish that sails on and on.
Chateau Haut Charmes Sauternes
Blend: 20% Sauvignon Blanc, 80% Sémillon
Golden yellow in color; charming, elegant and sweet with hints of pineapple, orange and coconut. Beautifully clean on the nose and palate, with white fruits like peaches, and honey being prominent in the taste, all complemented with very good minerality and acidity.
Chateau La Rame Sainte Croix Du Mont
Blend: 100% Sémillon
Sitting only 40 km southeast of the city of Bordeaux are the tranquil and glorious vineyards of Chateau La Rame. Golden yellow, bright and clear colors showcase through the glass. On the nose, elegant, fine and delicate, fruity, hazelnut, honey. On the palate, a supple attack, evolution on sweetness sustained by a touch of acidity.
Château Loupiac-Gaudiet LOUPIAC
Blend: 80% Sémillon, 20% Sauvignon Blanc
After fermentation the wine remains “en cuve” for some months before being bottled. The château does not mature any of this wine in oak either, so the taste is very pure. This vintage delivers a beautiful gold color with notes of passion fruit, dry apricots and honey. The taste is a delicious combination of crispness and fresh fruit.
La Fleur D’Or 2010 Sauternes
Blend: 100% Semillon
This sublime luscious Sauternes is a very characterful sweet wine. Warm, dry vintage conditions have given concentrated Sauternes, with rich peach and plum fruit accented by notes of honey, caramel and toast. The sweetness at the very start then gives way to a refreshing medium-dry finish.
