Yes, we’re rating weed! Weed Cellars to be exact. This impressive portfolio of wines comes from a new label specifically created to bridge the gap between alcohol and cannabis. Now, doesn’t that seem obvious? There’s no actual cannabis content in the wine so you can purchase this brand anywhere with a license to sell alcohol. Each varietal retails for around $15.99. No doubt, it’s a great name that affords consumers lots of opportune one-liners: “I brought Weed for everyone” and “Hope you like Weed with your meal” — the list is endless. But don’t underestimate this label. We love this selection of wines because it wholly over-delivers on price, and despite its eye-catching, conversation-starting labels, Weed Cellars is very serious about the liquid it puts in its bottles.

Weed Cellars 2018 Sauvignon Blanc, 90 Pts

This wine offers the refreshing notes that you hope a Sauvignon Blanc will deliver on the palate: honeydew melon, pineapple and passionfruit. Light and bright, this Central Coast gem overdelivers on price.
90 Points.

Weed Cellars 2018 Chardonnay, 91 Pts

A good example of how a Central Coast Chardonnay can present an excellent fruit- to-acidity balance. Packed with banana, stewed apple and tropical guava, this wine keeps the taste profile in line with elevated acidity, ensuring the wine doesn’t build on the tongue. Great structure.
91 Points.

Weed Cellars 2017 Pinot Noir, 92 Pts

Earthy forest floor, cinnamon with juicy, ripe cherry and just a hint of nutmeg make this the perfect pairing companion. Keep this versatile wine on hand over the holidays, including your Thanksgiving table.
92 Points.

Weed Cellars 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon, 91 Pts

Earthy on the nose, this wine invites you to a Central Coast Cabernet Sauvignon that balances exciting notes of plum and blackberry with roasted tobacco leaves and vanilla. A treat for the senses. Wonderful round finish.
