Founded in 1824 by Alexander Reid in Scotland, The Macallan is one of the worlds most appreciated and awarded single malt whiskies. Reid’s obsession with quality was the common thread that runs through the history of The Macallan. The distillery is surrounded by 150-hectare estate, with Easter Elchies House, the home of the founder, which is pictured on the Macallan label. Today, the distillery not only has a store, which stocks special bottling, but also a large interactive exhibit that explains the whiskey production process.

The Macallan introduces a new single malt whisky to their collection, which brings together two different worlds that tells a magical story. Matured in both American and European oak casks that were previously used to age sherry, The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old comes to life. This sherry seasoned single malt delivers distinct American oak style with flavors filled with vanilla, citrus, and light oak. Make a Macallan moment by grabbing a bottle today!
