This adult playground is bringing Miami’s entertainment scene to a different level. Ian Schrager, the mind behind Basement Miami is stockpiling locally famous artists to create a one-of-a-kind nightlife experience. The venue houses a bowling alley, ice skating rink and a highly visual nightclub with a dance floor inside – all accompanied by a high quality sound system that broadcasts the in-house disc jockey throughout the place. Each space has its own designated designer, everything is crafted with purpose from the wallpaper to the bowling balls themselves. These art installations are more than lights and colors, they’re spaces created to get lost in like Oliva Steele’s “I Had Too Much To Dream Last Night” and how it tackles the themes of motion in a location that was created for just that. Basement Miami is even takin’ it to the beach, bringing the waves of the coast closer to the beats and dance moves. They’re taking reservations now, so best get in on this all-encompassing Miami event.
