Mezzacorona, the Italian wine producer released its sparkling rosé Mezza di Mezzacorona Rosé this month to the U.S.

Made from estate-grown grapes in the foothills of the Italian Alps, Mezza di Mezzacorona Rosé is the brand’s first foray into Charmat-method sparkling rosé. The grapes are harvested and selected by hand at the beginning of September to keep the full potential of the aromatic expression of the vines. The color remains delicate which allows the final wine to have a soft rosy hue that is lively and brilliant over time. On the nose, hints of mountain rose, fresh cherry, peach and bergamot. The flavor is intense with a very delicate bubbles and a mousse that continues for a long time.

“Sparkling rosé is just another example of how Mezzacorona responds to consumer demands and trends in the industry,” says Barbara Darra, Global Marketing Manager for Gruppo Mezzacorona. “Research, development, and innovation are vital to our growth strategy, along with a robust marketing and digital presence to help share our story and understand what our consumers are looking for, like sustainability and connection to territory and tradition.”

Mezza di Mezzacorona Rosé can be enjoyed on its own year-round. For a truly delicious pairing, it is best enjoyed with light appetizers and snacks such as raw seafood or sushi. You can also add Mezza di Mezzacorona Rosé to your favorite cocktail.

The whimsical, pink, eye-catching bottle design and geometric label reinforces the Mezzacorona brand characteristics and is ever so fitting for rosé season. Mezza di Mezzacorona Rosé joins Mezzacorona’s portfolio of 750mL bottled wines, which include Mezzacorona Pinot Grigio, Mezzacorona Rosé and Mezza di Mezzacorona. All Mezzacorona’s wines are sustainably farmed, hand harvested, and estate bottled. Mezza di Mezzacorona Rosé will be available nationwide with a suggested retail price of $12.99.
