Unveiled in July 2013, Mikkeller Bar brings Belgian-style beer to San Francisco’s Tenderloin Neighborhood. Chummy with Mikkel Borg Bjergsø and his emporium of Mikkeller beers and bars in Copenhagen, Denmark, these folks take northern European good taste (both in design and in drink) to heart. The stylish bar features: 40 beers on tap, two cask-conditioned hand pulls, three different temperature zones: 40˚, 45˚, and 50˚ & a Flux Capacitor which allows for on the fly blending of CO2 and Nitrogen at each tap. Head to the basement where you’ll find the Sour Room, which stores and serves rare beers.
