The Rathfinny Wine Estate was established in 2010 near Alfriston in the South Downs of Sussex, picture perfect in one of England’s most exceptional natural landscapes, with one goal in mind. To produce some of the world’s best sparkling wine. On a south facing slope, three miles from the sea, its special combination of climate and soil make it an ideal location for producing sparkling wine. That, coupled with a unique connection to the past, the land itself has established Rathfinny as an exceptional and iconic part of southern England and the Sussex Sparkling Wine making legacy.

The estate, having been farmed since medieval times, has trails for exploring and enjoying the breath-taking views. While on the property make sure to stop in at Flint Barns for a bite to eat or a place to spend the night. Rathfinny does everything it can to make you comfortable, even allowing dogs during your visit, and making it feel like a true “home away from home”.
