Forget about Super Bowl 50, we’ve got the scoop on the Super Bowl of Sonoma County wine tastings. With the million visitors or so on their way to Super Bowl City in San Francisco, what better way to celebrate the charm of the county than with a collection of more than 50 of Sonoma Valley’s finest wineries. The event will take place at Taste of Sonoma lounge located near the iconic Ferry Building on San Francisco’s waterfront. Between the competitive atmosphere and the light heartedness of the event, you won’t want to miss this if you’re in town. The official start date is January 30th and continues through February 7th.

For you wine snobs who prefer a specific varietal, the wineries will be set up in flights based on type for easy navigation. There will be both wine educators and winemakers present to enhance this wonderful experience. To find out which wineries from the famous Sonoma Valley are pouring on which days, check out the schedule to plan your visit more effectively.

If strategic planning and aimlessly wandering isn’t your style, wine tours are offered for a full day price of $169 or a half day price of $115. Included in the full day is a seven hour wine extravaganza with visits to three wineries, snacks, and tastings, while the half day allows an open afternoon for gallivanting and morning visits to two wineries, snacks, and tastings.

Drink a little wine and watch some football. It’s the event you don’t want to miss—so many quality wineries in one concentrated area!
