CELIA’s Czech lager redefines what makes beer, well beer.  The brewery relies on traditional methods to handcraft its premium beer gluten-free. After years in development, researches refined a now patented de-glutenisation process that ensures the pilsner is made sans substitutions and only with organic ingredients—and all without compromising the flavor, of course! The company marries their modern, wholesome brewing process with their traditional roots. Based in the historic Czech town Žatec, CELIA began brewing at the end of the 18th century on site of a royal castle and it continues to do so today.

This season’s CELIA Organic and CELIA Dark, though both flavored with Saaz hops and brewed through a natural carbonation process that is proven to reduce bloating, are two completely different beers.  The Organic has a delicate bitterness, not to mention a hint of citrus that pairs nicely with chicken or seafood dishes.  Whereas the Dark assumes a nutty, caramel flavor after it is brewed with toffee Bavarian malt, the perfect compliment for red meat or toffee pudding.  And for the makers at CELIA the goal is and always will be, perfection.
