Exclusive. Exquisite. Exceptional.

These are the words that describe this single malt.

The Mortlach 75 Year, recently released as part of Gordon & MacPhail coveted’s Generations range, is believed to be one of the world’s most exclusive single malt Scotch whiskys.

Four generations of the Urquhart family have gone into making this luxurious whisky, which dates back to November 17th 1939, when this spirit from Mortlach Distillery was first poured into a first-fill sherry cask.

Nurturing whiskys for the future is in the blood of the Urquhart family, which lives by the saying: “The future is shaped by what we do today. Today reveals what we did in the past.” This motto shows through in the Mortlach 75 Year, with its apricot and pomegranate notes, as well as hints of spice and vanilla.

Such a rare single malt deserves only the best packaging. The Mortlach comes in a teardrop-shaped crystal decanter with 75 cuts representing each year this Scotch matured to perfection. It also comes with two crystal glasses, a luxury travel bag, and a book that tells the story of this whisky and the people who nurtured it to the prized possession it is today. Only 100 decanters of the Mortlach 75 are available for sale.
